The US will start sending military help to Ukraine soon.
It is expected that Ukraine will receive more weapons and equipment to help defend against Russia, who has been winning battles. However, it is unsure if Ukraine can make enough progress to keep support from the US before running out of money. The White House is concerned about the situation in Eastern Ukraine and fears Russia may try to take over a major city in the country. Some politicians have been hesitant to send more aid to Ukraine due to threats from members of their own party.
